According to my EPC there should be no badges other than the star on the boot lid of this car too.
I cant get on ebay but ill bet the boot lid on this is full of CL55 and AMG badges.

I've already done this, he says he has a receipt from AMG for the work done and that I can phone Mercedes to confirm it is an AMG car

The problem is engine 113.986 is the NA 5.5 AMG lump found in the W215. Maybe it was a conversion?

DVLA has it as a 5 litre car not 5.5

weird - seems seriously dodgy

It's not unheard of for the DVLA to have information incorrect, however does seem a little strange. The build date is before the first 215 55 appeared isn't it? Maybe it was the first or a special order .
