Being the logical person I am, I occasionally question why I put up with 13mpg(ish), £495 road tax and c£300 tyres that don't last very long.
After all, living in the city, with average speeds being pretty low, I could buy something more sensible to drive around in, couldn't I .
However, this morning, I turned the key and was greeted by the now familiar, but never soulless, exhaust bark.
As I cleared today's frost from the windscreen, with all four exhaust tips gently smoking away, fast idle dropped to a gentle, but powerful tickover rumble.
Off down the road, and even at part throttle there's loads of useable power to play with, including breaking traction in 2nd and 3rd, despite the LSD.
Just mile after mile of excellent driving fun, city or not.
Of course, nobody needs all that power, but if you're a petrolhead, you'll understand exactly what I mean .
Logic re-affirmed - AMG's rule .
