Why I Drive An AMG.

What the OP said about AMGs is why I love them too.

BMWs and so on are all about the performance figures etc, but fun isn't lap times or performance figures, fun is fun.

AMGs have much more power than traction, and that's fun.

Not many/any other production cars will still have the traction control light flashing at such high speeds/gears, as they're always really over-tyred and have the power smoothed out.

Not an AMG, and that's why they're fun, that is exactly how AMG want them to be.

Actually I did make a big mistake this morning as my car wasn't iced over so I started it and drove of the drive, quickly joining the main road. I then realised that it was getting a bit misted inside so switched the climate to clear the screen, trouble was it hadn't warmed up and just made it worse so I was heading into the sun all misted up fumbling for the little pad and failing to find it eventually using the back of my hand to clear the screen to see where I was going as I was on a main road with no stopping!!

Wont do that tomorrow until the car is warmer I can tell you!

Wiped the screen with your hand I would expect you to be more prepared than that Steve!:fail

I kinda was - the pad was still in its packet!! It spoiled that little spurt of AMG noise I like to hear on that bit of road, still all good today!

I did have an AMG but almost all AMG parts are off and new parts exchanged from various Mod Companies.
Great sound, especially on first start, and then pure driving pleasure whipping those horses into shape
