Windows 10

Lol, that last post looks a bit odd now!

I've been here before with a Dell Dimension 4700 and Windows 7.

I tried to get the on board sound card working but in the end, I just bought the cheapest Asus one I could as trying to get Vista drivers to work didn't work out although I forget why.

I think it is more the newer version of the driver will tell you to s*d off.

The older version of the driver, but for the 330M on 8.1, can sometimes be made to install thinking it doesn't matter which version of Windows it installs on to or that it is able to install on Windows 10 - but that requires editing text files - if it is even that easy!

A newer graphics card will be easier:D

Not in a laptop!

Your post you changed was valid - by saving the driver, you are then in a position to be able to edit the necessary files for the 8.1 drivers to be installed...

Correction.

It's a all in one desktop with a touch screen

It's as good as a laptop when it comes to upgrading the graphics card then i.e. not possible AFAIK.

Post #14 now applies I think.

The link John posted with the earlier driver supports that card, but only up to Win 8.1.
Maybe ways round it but above my station to edit text files. (Told you I was a numpty)

I've had a look and can't see any knowledge on this.

Maybe once Windows 10 is released it would be worth checking again - there is bound to be someone who has worked out how to do it.

You have a year to upgrade for free anyway and very quickly it will become apparent whether it is going to be possible or not.
