Hi

I have a soft-phone as part of the product suite that I am now selling, that only runs on Windows and there is no Mac alternative.

I understand that there are ways of running Windows apps on a Mac without having a dual boot OS.

Can anyone recommend some application that will allow this.

Many thanks

Tan

Hello install Parallels on the Mac and this will allow you to boot into OSX and also allow you to run windows software.

VM fusion - creates a Windows based computer running in parallel. You would need whichever windows version you use, and that would need virus protection. I run all my Windows based stuff on it without huge problems.

I use the freely available VirtualBox from Sun on my Mac Mini - running Windows 7 Pro.

If you don't mind rebooting, BootCamp (apple's solution, totally free) is already installed on your mac if it's got leopard or snow leopard (10.5 or 10.6)

How do I access this?

On the top menu bar, click on Go>Utilities
Then open Boot Camp Assistant and follow the instructions.
