Windscreen clearing - SLK (R171)

Sue's SLK has developed a habit of not clearing just the middle bit of the windscreen and not a great job on the rest although passable - any thoughts please? (hope this is in the right place!)

It went in for MOT yesterday and apart from some welding needing doing on the top struts, seems OK. Big relief as last year had to put a new subframe in!

Have you checked the drains in the battery compartment and the shield under the bonnet? That’s where I’d start. Next port of call is the fan motor. If the drains have been blocked, the motor gets waterlogged and hands in its chips.

Hiya Gollom, sorry, but you just need new wiper blades ! If there are blank spaces when wiping, then either the screen has been machine polished, or the blades have worn unevenly.

It is the inside that's not clearing - sorry I was not *clearer* LOL
