Hi, just wondered if anyone has encountered a similar issue. My W209 CLK has an issue where if I press the indicator stalk to activate the washers nothing appears to happen. Wipers do not move nor any spray. The wipers work fine other than this.

I did initially think it was a dodgy pump but as the wipers do not activate really cannot be the case. The only other couple of things it could be is either a faulty stalk or relay/fuse.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Is your bonnet popped? It won't activate the washers when the bonnet sensor thinks it's open. :dk:

This video may help you. I know it's for a USA C Class, but would think the CLK is going to be very similar if not identical. Bear in mind that the fusebox is on the opposite side to yours. (I would think).

Brilliant thanks! Looks fairly straight forward. Looks like I have a busy weekend coming up once have bought a new stalk

Ok, I shall check this first. Saves dismantling things if not needed. I have not been able to identify which relay it is after looking online. Does anyone no which it is? I can see wiper 1 & 2 and wiper on/off but nothing suggesting the washer system.
