For our Juke, you can buy regular wipers or wipers with an aero spoiler on them.

When do aero wipers become worthwhile having over standard ones?

ive never noticed any difference in performance from either, i suppose the idea is the faster you go the less likely they are to lift.

Yes, I'd read at 120mph the ones with aero lift anyway.

The Juke is not a Juke-R (Juke with Nissan GT-R engine) so I doubt anything but the standard ones are required.

I thank you all.

but the Aero ones look much cooler :D

No idea if the Aero make any real difference, but why not get them anyway? They can't be much more expensive than the standard wiper blades.

my wife has a 1.6 petrol quashcow +2 and i doubt that would reach three figures lol

Agree with PeterE320Cdi - aero wipers look cool, and they are also definitely much quieter, practically silent on my car.

I was also able to add 4" to the passenger side wiper (24" MB specified, I use 28" - Bosch AR70N) - something that would not have been possible with a standard one.

I'd already bought the wipers by that stage - was just wondering whether to chop them in for aero ones.

The misses doesn't care and I am not bothered about the looks.

They work fine so will stick with those!

Cheers all.

OK - so just in case anyone bases a decision to buy Bosch wipers from Halfords for their Juke on this thread - just to report back that they were shi*.

They lifted up at moderate speeds, squeeked and the larger one fell off in some wind and rain (both don't fit properly as the adapters are nothing like the originals) - the small one took ages to fit.

Halfords suggested it might have been the way I fitted them but after advising them that I'd not had this issue before in the 20 years I've been replacing wipers, and nor do the Nissan ones I fitted have the issue, they conceded it was the wipers. I advised them I didn't care what they thought and suggested they refund my money promptly.

OEM Nissan wipers, made by Valeo (which surprised me), are silent, effective and don't fall off as well as being easy to fit within 30 seconds each.

Same price for both sets - lesson learnt.

Bosch wipers?

Halfords?

Juke?

All of the above?

:D

On serious note, my original MB wipers were made by Valeo SWF, and I had both original MB and Bosch Aero wipers and - in my case at least - can't tell the difference.

I just bought a set of Bosch Aero Twins for the CLS so I hope they are OK

Halfords?

It is close to my work - is my only defence. I actually like the Juke - it's a great little car apart from the CVT dying just under 3 years old and 22k. Not good, Nissan.

I doubt it is across the board - I think in this case the adapters are crap and the larger wiper is missing the spoiler which has made quite a difference it seems...

If I don't buy from the main dealer, my default is Aero wipers, and only because I like the name.

Aero is the way to go. Much better at clearing the screen when using rainx in my opinion

For the record and to everyone on this thread, Halfords own brand wipers, are the same as Bosch wipers, because Bosch make the wipers for Halfords. Don't be fooled into paying more for the box ;)

Confession time.
I did exactly the same. Bosch wipers from Halfords.
Couldn't believe the price at checkout but paid up.
Couple of weeks later they were squeaky and make a noise as the flip at the end of travel.
Won't make that mistake again.

Aeros for me nice and bubbly :-)
