Wipers and Windows

Hi

A friend has a couple of electrical issues with his '94 W124 E220.

1: the wipers have stopped working, I think this is a relay but can't remember which one to check.

2: the electric windows don't work with the engine running, unless the door is opened?

Any advice would be most welcome.
