Hi

In our new house we have Cat 5 points in every room which come from a switch which is hard wired to a wireless router from Sky.

The wireless covers many of the rooms but certainly not all so in those rooms we connect to the network via a wall mounted Cat 5

I need wireless in some of the rooms that the wireless doesn't cover what can i get to plug into one of the Cat 5 points in say a bedroom to make a mini network that we could connect an Ipad to??

If this all makes sense??

Thanks,

I don't know what Cat5 are but I've used Homeplugs (Devolo) to connect my son's PS3 to our SKY wireless router as they wouldn't talk to each other over the long distance between them.

They create a network using the house wiring and are very effective.

I'm not 100% sure, but i think you need one of these - just plug into one of your wired lan connections and then configure using your browser...

Yup all you need is a wireless access point.
