wiring Harness part number

Hello everybody,
I am a new member to this forum and live in Chester, I have been a member on Benzworld for a couple of years until I found this site,(UK based)much better than the other one..
I drive an 1994 E200 import from Singapore, which was a replacement for my C180 which I wrote off in 2008.
Unfortunately the engine wiring harness has had it, the car Is still running although not perfectly after I effected a repair, I know this model from 94/95 suffers from the dreaded loom rot and mine has now got quite bad.
I have been searching the tinterweb for a couple of days now with no luck, but a guy rang me back from one of the enquiries I have made with an offer of a loom for £198.00, but he wants a part number which I can't find out.

So basically here's my question to you knowledgeable people on here-:
Can anyone tell me the part number for such a harness, or where to go to find out

1994 E200 W124 model, 111 engine

The part no I have is A1244406732 which applies between chassis nos C009355 and C208307 after which A1244403633 is the wiring loom part no . Best to check with your MB dealer anyway since you want to get it correct before lashing out that cash.
ps I would be wary of second hand units

Hey E200CT, i also have the same problem with my harness. Can thee guy whho called you also have an extra harness i could buy from him, or knows where i could get one?

These looms will be second hand and while OK at present they may be on the way out?? Factor in the cost of a new ENGINE ECU and a new loom begins to look a better proposition

Mercedes Benz of Poole should be able to help. They specialise in parts for older models- expect to pay £500ish.
