Wood Trim Replacement

Hi All,
Has anyone changed their interior trim?

I have a CLK320 2003 Elegance and I'd like to change the trim from Wood to the metal/aluminium type but not sure how expensive these sets are!

Does anyone know?

Quite a few have done this, althought most seem to do the opposite of what you are planning, which is to swap the aluminium to wood.
Therefore, I dare say there may be a few who will have full aluminium sets for sale.

I think alu to wood will be the cheaper option. The wood is very expensive.

I went from black birds-eye maple to walnut. The complete kit from Merc would be itro £1200. This is for an E class. Dash, centreline and four doors.
Got mine from a scrappy.

Doh, didn't think of Scrappies, I need to start looking or put a wanted thingy on th ewanted forum!

How easy was it to do the doors? Centrel console is easily done but I am not sure how easy are the doors and the electric window insert removed!

There are several sellers on fleabay that sell kits much cheaper than Mercedes and to be honest are just as good.

I have looked everywhere, on ebay uk, ebay germany, ebay america and ebay canada but nothing at all.

eBay Germany do have one kit which is a stick on type bt good quality but that is only for SLK.

You never know, someone might have one one around somewhere they are willing to sell. fingers crossed!
