would not rev over 1500.

Was out earlier today for about 20 minutes before I pulled up at lights and waited. Not certain but think I left car in D and had foot on brake. Pulled away and kangarooed around the island I was waiting at - the revs would not go over 1500 and it was as if a rev limiter was kicking in and stopping the fuel. Pulled in off the island and turned engine off. restarted after 20 secs or so and no problems since .

Any one any ideas what happened?

fuel issue sounds like.. either pump or dirty filter?

had filled up 15 minutes before and had wondered about that....but the bouncing and loss of revs was at the same point, 1500 revs. if it was a blockage would the rev loss be SO consistent?? And then why did it clear immedialtely? Have used car a few times today and no issues at all.Go figure?

Accidently set the SpeedTronic limiter just a thought
actually... dont know if its on your model...
