Wow... E55,

Yes Looks like that one has be cared for. Lovely to see a non silver or black one, but im not entirely convinced i like the colour, But i think id had still bought it had it been around the time i was looking.

7 seater too! and low "ish" miles. Yep nice car

Wow, I like that.

I’m half tempted! :D

The pictures were posted on the dealer's website before they were on eBay, and I'd been waiting for them. Sadly, it is almost exactly what I want, but: it is too light a blue, I'm not keen on the Designo two-tone seats (on the dealer's website), and the wood is very orangey. I could live with the latter two, and if only it were Tanzanite or Mystic blue, or perhaps Brilliant Silver, I'd buy it; but it's not. If I'm going to change from the E63, the replacement has to be exactly what I want.

So near, and yet so far... The search for The One goes on...

That wood interior looks awful:eek:

Not sure about the blue either but certainly one that is likely to increase in value in future years.

Are you really looking to go back to a S211 E55 after owning a W212 E63 Biturbo?
I thought these 5.5 Biturbos were a step up from the s/c E55? The interior certainly is.

Seats are more comfortable in the 211... :) :D

I would snap that up but the wife doesn’t like the estate version and my current car is probably in a better position for the long haul (having spent a few bob at my friendly MB parts department to get sorted since 2013).

Why o why isn't this a saloon?! I recently posted some pics here of a saloon in the same colour as this but the person that had it (had it since new) wouldn't sell it. His wife said there's mot chance of him getting rid of her than the car lol :D
I don't think the pics do this colour justice, the one I saw didn't look this bright, it's a bit darker in the flesh.

I've been looking for a designo e55 w211 for ages now and I just can't seem to find one

A bit better performance, a bit better economy, a lot more noise. The economy is not a factor for me, and in the real world, neither disappoints in the performance stakes. Personally, I prefer the interior of the 211 to the 212; it's more 'Mercedes' somehow.

With an M113K with only 85K on it, I'd have no qualms about releasing a touch more urge with a remap, and an X-pipe would release a bit more sound from the exhaust, but not as much as the 5.5, which is verging on antisocial as stock. Well, mine, with the 550bhp Performance Package is, anyway.

Hmmmmmmm... I might be talking myself into buying it.

I think the estates look better on the W210 and W211 than their saloon counterparts. The colour is refreshing as it's different to nearly every other E55k however the wood trim does ruin it for me

My seats are the same blue/grey as these. Were they a cost option then? I've seen a couple before and the first black s211 e55 I went to see had the red/black option. I tend to prefer these to plain black.
Looking at the dealer site pics the interior is quite worn, more so than mine in some ways and I've a good few more miles on it
I'd want the front seats tidying a little. Can you actually see that rear tv from the 2 main rear seats? I'm thinking of children strapped in so no creeping towards it. Rear headrest ones do seem a better design choice.
Yes that's the most individual car I've seen. I'd want to compare carefully to a 3 or 4 yr old newer 805 e63 at the same money at I think I'd go to a 5.5 at a little more again.

The TV is not a factor for me, and it's probably analogue anyway, so useless.

That car is an 805. I don't want an n/a engine, so the E63 does not interest me.

I have a 2012 E63 5.5, on the same mileage, already, but I'd replace it with the right E55K.

Not one for me. I know anything other than silver or black is rare on the E55K but I don't see this suits the car and that wood trim is truly shocking.

Needs to be a dark blue on an E55K. The interior doesn't seem as clean as some others I've seen on same mileage or more.

Go on Dennis ;) lol
