Wow... E55,

I’m still not convinced by the colour lol it just looks strange but I think it’s because I’m used to seeing them all In black and silver, I like the wood never used too but that looks right with the colour of the leather. Easy enough to change anyway.

Yes, exactly my thoughts on the wood - it’s pretty easy to find a standard set of avantgarde trim to replace if that’s all that bothers someone.

I reckon it would have looked nice with the cream leather from that other designo E55 (lowish mileage black one)

The wear on the seats is consistent with the age. 85k means little on a car like this - unless it was a weekend pride and joy thing there’s probably been as many bums-on-seats as any other 2004 ‘55k.

Looks more like a blue that would suite a fast Audi Estate. Seen plenty of S4's that suit this colour better.

It is definitely Linarite Blue, according to the datacard, if anyone is interested. Still too bright for me.

Agree about the wood colour but I really like the blue exterior. What do people think about the price I could be interested

View it on a rainy day. Camera, phone/computer screen - will display colours differently than they would be in the flesh.

I know if I went to view it, I'd end up bringing it home. So I'm not going.

There are plenty of illustrations of the colour, taken with as many different cameras, and they're all much of a muchness. I'm after Tanzanite or Mystic blue (I've had two W211s in the former, and have a 212 in the latter); Linarite and Mauritius are too bright for my taste. If it was Tanzanite, I'd buy it...

Badmoon, the wood may not be too gaudy in the flesh - well, in the wood, but you know what I mean...; one of my Tanzanite 211s had wood that looked very orangey in the pics, but was noticeably less bright in reality.

It's a nice car with a good spec, but i'd have thought that about £11.5-12K was tops; there's another, higher mileage but slightly younger, silver E55K estate, up for £9995, that has been for sale for at least a couple of months, and I can't see that the blue one is worth £3K more than that.

I think the Silver estate looks a shed especially compared with the Blue one, At least the blue car is sitting the correct height all the way round has 7y seats which may appeal to some more and low miles.

I never lused to like the light colour wood but i do these days, its just that exterior colour that would have to be seen in the flesh. Glad i haven't got £13k kicking about as id be tempted. lol

I'd buy it - must be a one off, I've certainly never seen an E55 in that colour and, being a wagon too, it has to hold its value better than most in the future. Just can't get my head around that wood

You do realise you have to pass tests with a certain set of skills to be allowed into the exclusive "Tanzanite" club..;)

I think some vendors Photoshop the funkier colours too to make them stand out more.

I've had three - an E55, an E55K and a 320 diesel. Lovely colour; really suits the W211 estate.

Ahh yup ..We're both "Has been's" Bof ...better than "A never was" lol

My CL55 was Tanzanite and my CL 216 Bi-Turbo is Cavansite Blue the replacement.
