Guess who's got the biggest grin this morning?!

Yay!!!!! Well done Simon! :bannana: :bannana: Sheesh that must of been the longest wait

How does she drive?

And more importantly... we need pics!! I'd love to see the model update bumpers as fitted to your SLK.

Enjoy! Heh I'm sure you are :D

Made up for you Simon - I know when I haven't driven my car for a while, it feels amaaaaaazingly quick

Good news Simon.:D :D

Worth the wait I hope.:bannana: :bannana:

Yep, sure is great to have it back. 62 days. I was driving like Sister Wendy this morning :p

I have some piccies - I'll post them later when I get home.

I'm really pleased with the work. The side sills have been colour coded as well. They'll do until I can afford the skirts. They did forget to put new KOMPRESSOR badges on so I need to go back next week - they only had one in stock

They regassed the aircon as well, for free :D

Meanwhile at home, I am under strict orders not to start neglecting my current DIY duties......as if! :D

No. TBH I'm not really that fussed for them. The skirts are more important so that'll be the next job.

New foglights as well ? or are they the originals ?

Looks fantastic anyway - welcome back !!

Quality!! They've done a great job and the faclift bumpers look brilliant. Those sills don't look out of place either now that they're painted, :D I thought you were going to leave them black as you thought colour coded didn't look right? Still love that colour though. ;)

Sym: Yep, New fog lights. Part number starts 215 so I guess they're off the CL.

Greg: If you're passing through and want to give us a shout, feel free.

Steve: You're right I was going to leave them black, but then I thought 'ah why not!'. Didn't get charged for it either.....bonus! :D I was worried about the black rubber strip, but I don't think it's too bad.

I've also since discovered that the headlamp washers aren't working. They pop out, whirr, and pop back but no water. I guess someone forgot to hook up the hose somewhere. (Yes, there is water in the tub).

I got slight overspray on my chrome exhaust tip. Can this be removed w/o scratching or do I just replace it?

Cheers all!

Very nice.Glad too see your back on the road again m8.

Makes it almost worth crashin dont it !!!
Looks great mate.:D

It looks good Simon. Shame you had to go through so much pain to get to this but!!

Just polish the chrome tip with metal polish or even some paint stripper as that wont affect the chrome.

Good to see it back on the road again, now be carefull with her and my, does she look good!:D :D

Excellent mate, looks awesome! For the overspray just use a drop of unleaded on a bit of tissue next time you fill up, or thinners wil also do...
