Whilst driving it's silky smooth no issues but when stationary with footbrake on and I go from D back to P or D to N the car jolts noticeably and if you go D to P a few times i get a real clunk as it disengages out of D.
Yes they have and supplied new loan car each time I can't fault their service which has been excellent and they emailed over the invoice for my records so I can't complain really.
Just had the final.invoice emailed over for suspension compressor plus new air springs, torque converter and engine mounts parts only came to £3200 this excludes labour !!
Bought a 2013 E250 w212 7g+ tronic from main dealer.After 1000 miles rear suspension dropped low and going from D to P or D to N the car has a noticeable jolt and road noise in cabin.Sent it back and they replaced the torque converter and suspension compressor.Got it back suspension sorted but...
Well got it back and yes you guessed it it still jolts going from D to N or D to P ,dealers reckons they all have a slight jolt coming out of D but to me it seems too much.Ive decided to pop it into a local independent and see what they say about it.
Well car has been with dealer since Monday and today they have said car is ready and that all the engine mounts have been replaced which has solved the issue.So far the dealership have been good in handling the problems ,so wait and see what it's like when I get it back.
Still the new compressor solved the rear suspension feels much better.But its this clunk/jolt going from D to P or N they said they've changed the torque converter.Even the sales rep admitted these faults should have been dealt with before it was put on forecourt and if it required a lot spent...
Well got car back today all valeted and 1/2 tank of fuel very nice.In a bit of a rush so jumped in drove about 12 miles on motorway to golf got in car park and thought I'd better just check but it drove really smooth...clunk again going from.D to P or N the car really jolts back to square one.
That's what i was thinking I'm hoping realising what they've done they are going to sort it out properly.I take it that amount of work will be expensive
Ok it's been with MB dealer for 3 days and it requires new torque converter,compressor and shocks.....and so far the dealer have been great about so I will have the new c250 coupe AMG loan car a little longer.
Well it's been with MB dealer for 3 day's and it requires a new torque converter,compressor and front shocks but they are waiting for torque converter and compressor to come over from germany.....lucky I went to main dealer to buy as so far they been great.
Main dealer have taken car back and given me a loan car,so wait and see what they say.I would hope the transmission change was done properly as it's a well known main dealer.That said when I got car I always Check tyre pressures etc and they ranged from 26 psi to 29 psi when min was shown as 38...
