Looks like some new nut job has nothig better to do than clog up this forum, he's only done four posts and three are here!!!!

Some people don't understand that the weight of the caravan is distributed on two tyres so correct rated tyres are required. Some put car tyres on and wonder why they burst. A car at 1600 Kg means 400Kg per tyre but a caravan at 1300Kg means 650 Kg per tyre.

Had an old Mk 2 Sprite, used to drive around with no hood on all the time. Just unzip the tonau cover on the drivers side and put the heater on full and all was well. didn't matter if it was snowing or what, you only got a little damp when you had to stop!! No electric tops in those days.

Central locking fuse is F42 in main fuse box also relays 20 23 and 24 control the central locking.

Have you tried behind the drives or passengers footwell kick panels?

Well I've changed the brakelight switch and still got this intermittant problem od the ESP light flashing and the ABS cutting in at very low speed as I'm setting off. Not had any warning lights up yet though. Any more ideas please. Peter.
