backup

It 1.1V according to STAR, do I need to replace it? or can I recharge it from the main as it not charging while driving it.

I rely on MS Access & Word and wondered if it is possible to schedule an automatic daily backup of data to my external hard drive? I'm using Windows 7 and Office Pro 2007. TIA. :thumb: Paul.

ive done some net searching but as yet am struggling. is it possible to backup the entire contents of my existing blackberry bold 9700 so i can transfer data to the new 9700 that came today? cheers john

Hi there I'm using Vista home with SP2 When I try to do a backup via the Wizard, I get the error message above I get a nag about "30 days has elapsed since your last back up" but am never able to accomplish anything. Any ideas please? Or Does anyone know of a good free...

I'm begning to get nervous about data security. Not a huge volume (~250gb and growing) but it's taken me a lot of research time to gather. What is best for backing up? Should I copy to DVD (many DVD!) or get something like this?

We are currently backing up our server daily onto 4mm Data tapes, and seem to be running out of space! Would an external Hard drive work just as well, are there any drawbacks from doing it this way? I assume this would be quicker as well. If anyone has any other suggestions they would be quicker...

Hi all, Could anyone recomend a programe (either cheapish or even better "freeware") that would suffice to allow the following; Backup of accounts, excel and word quotes, CAD drawings and photo's from my office pc (Vista), and.... Backup of my wifes uni files. photo's etc from her study pc...

Anyone know of any good tape backup software, free or otherwise. Needs to be pretty robust as backing up 20Tb potentially. IIRC the tapes are Dot 4 or 5. Servers I understand, tape backup I have never done before :crazy: .
