    Fuel Consumption When Towing

    Have got a c250td estate (1998) which normally delivers reasonable fuel consumption, however when towing a caravan (1200kg) have only been getting around 19 mpg. Has anybody had similar experiences? Is this the norm?

    Oil Consumption in between services.

    Chaps I have an E class and its got about 3500 miles until the next service. I have noticed this that I need to add 1.5 litres of oil. Do I have a heavy oil consuption or is this normal? Any advice as what might be the problem. Cheers Ian
