i've noiced a few drops of oil on the driveway recently and appears to be coming from the rear diff. level was checked and seemed ok and the car performs fine. is this anything to worry about, how will i know if it gets any worse and lastly how much is likely to cost to get it fixed? cheers

Hi all, The whinning noise from the rear diff on mine is getting louder and it may need replacing. Does anybody here know where I can get a cheaper replacement as the dealer wants £870+vat for it :eek: :eek: . My car is a 98' W210 E240 elegance.
