My heater wasn't working at all and after changing the Duovalve I can get nice hot air, but if I then switch it back to cold it stays hot for ages until the heater matrix is obviously cooled down after the duovale has shut.
So is the w210's Hot/Cold purely controlled by the Duo valve or...

Anyone got a serviceable duovalve for a 126? my 300se has failed and one of the staff is using it for a bit.
Part number is a0008301884 according to EPC as its got aircon but I could consider a1268300084 no aircon as it may work?

Having read a lot about the duo-valve in the heater system I got to thinking about the one on the C43.
The duo-valve has 1 coolant feed dividing it into 2 water hoses going into the heater system in the car enabling the temperature to be controlled individually drivers and passenger side...

From scanning the thread it sounds like if one side is blowing cold and the other hot either on occassions or all the time then the Duovalve is faulty. Can it be cleaned up or does it have to be replaced.
