Hi all, Wonder if anyone can help with this? Are there like official figures for oil consumption for W203s? Mine was refilled after a B service and after 2500 miles, the computer says to add 1L of oil - is this normal? Also, does oil brand / specs matter? I used mobil1 0/40W previously...

I’ve been offered a rather smart 1992, TE300 which I am seriously tempted to buy. However I have quite a drive to work and back every day so the fuel consumption is likely to be the deciding factor. Does anyone know what I should expect to get? Car is a 3 litre auto. Thanks Chris
