headlamps

The headlamps on my W203 coupe are going opaque but heard people have rubbed them down with toothpaste?! I assuming the slight abrasion is supposed to help but does it work? Thanks

Trying to change the headlamp bulbs on these projector type headlamps, Book say remove outer covers by turning anti clockwise and remove ... done ok To remove bulbs turn bulb holder anticlockwise again and remove. They don't want to move are the instructions wrong in car manual? ,

We're taking our ML on a European road trip, and so we'll need to adapt the headlamps for driving on the right. I recall that it's possible to switch beam direction on some cars with Xenon headlamps, rather than use a sticker, but I can't see any reference to it in the owners manual...
