Or at least that's where it sounds like it's coming from to me in the driver's seat.
Any known culprits in this area? Obvious and easy fix I could try before I start trying to self diagnose?
Hi All,
As stated above, I have noticed today that a strip of the fabric along the edge of the hardtop has come loose. I can tuck it under again but it just comes out once more.
Can anyone advise what is the best glue can I use to hold it in place that won't soak through and show up on...
I had this as an optional extra in my M5 and i really liked it.
I don't have it in my W211 so was wandering if it was an option or if anyone has had it done?

The headlining looks as though it is attached to individual panels which can just be unclipped from the ceiling.

As I mentioned in my intro post, my headlining is 99% detached and sagging.
I did make some attempts to re-attach it with upholstery spray glue but as it's the foam backing itself that is perished and crumbling it was a waste of time.

Unfortunately, the pictures don't show the difference between the standard cloth headlining and the alcantara one very well but I can assure you that the quality of work is first...

my headlining has seen better days so I set about taking it down (which I did without removing the rear view mirror etc as per the manual). Anyway I couldnt get the sunroof headlining panel off, it unclipped at the front but wouldnt pull out as described by the manual and others. With the...
Anybody know what to use to clean the inside headlining of a convertible? It's like a cotton material, but I don't want to risk spoiling the tensioning. Would a light brushing do the job? It's just got dirty, no stains... :)
Sorry this is not about my MB, but I thought you'd let me off with...
