I was installing some rear door speakers today, so I had to remove the door cards. I noticed the plastic sheet and thought to myself... Is this for waterproofing? I've had to modify the speaker holders, the ones that are screwed into the actual metalwork and are housed behind this plastic sheet...

Does anyone know if it's possible to clean the inside of the headlamps on the W210? Looking at mine they are rather grey (rather then glassy) and appear slightly dull yellow when switched on at night. As the car's covered some miles I half expect the headlight bulbs to have that old mirrored...
