I was installing some rear door speakers today, so I had to remove the door cards. I noticed the plastic sheet and thought to myself... Is this for waterproofing? I've had to modify the speaker holders, the ones that are screwed into the actual metalwork and are housed behind this plastic sheet...

I plan to add an Alpine (or Pioneer) navigation system to my W202. The system has a vehicle speed sensor wire and I was wondering where it should be connected to inside a W202. I was told that I could use the volume dependent wire behind the factory MB radio. If this is incorrect...

Does anyone know if it's possible to clean the inside of the headlamps on the W210? Looking at mine they are rather grey (rather then glassy) and appear slightly dull yellow when switched on at night. As the car's covered some miles I half expect the headlight bulbs to have that old mirrored...

My 1994 E220 TE has wires going to the underside of each front seat, has anyone any idea what these are for? The car does not have electric seats:confused: Thanks
