Hi all, whilst driving into a parking space today i went a bit too far foward and caught the bottom of the bumpet on the kerb, when i reversed off there was a rather unpleasant scraping sound.
When i got out to have a look all wasnt well.
On the drivers side there is a gap of about 1/2 inch...
As the title suggests my pride and joy met with a 3ft kerb in Chelsea today.. admittedly I did drive it into this kerb but I really didn't see it was so damn high! Luckily it was at crawling speed but nonetheless a super :fail on my part.

Rather ****** off ... had caught the underside of the front bumper on a supermarket space kerb some months back, but noticed before flying back in reverse and lifted it off the kerb with some deformation and paint loss underneath only.
Now the wife's done it, but just stuffed it in reverse and...
Does anyone know the kerb weight (inc. fluids) of the 190 16v?
Some Google references tell me the base 190 was 1170kg and that the 16v ~25kg heavier? This seems rather light to me.

I have some kerb damage on a front wheel thats due for a new tyre (I'll be replacing both fronts).
If I change the tyres can anyone recommend a company that can refurb the wheel after the tyre had been fitted.
I don't have another wheel to use (other than the space saver) to allow the wheel...

I have 18" Alloys and worried about kerb scuffing any tried some of the tyres that have a small kerb strip on them and if so do they help or will I be wasting my money on them.

My friend has managed to hit the kerb realy hard on the N/S front wheel.
The wheel, wishbone, stub axle and steering end ball joint are now changed but the wheel it sitting an inch back as appose to where it should be.
Also I have replaced the wheel.
