knob

I've been looking on Ebay for an original shift knob and boot for a 1995 S280 5-speed and they all seem to have those names under the shift pattern. What are they supposed to mean? And since Mercedes probably only made a few W140 models with a stick, would one from a W202 or W210 fit?

Hello All, I have just replaced my gear knob and gaiter, so it's up for grabs free. Used and with a few scuffs on the chrome, good for someone who wants to have a go at diy. this came off a 2005 220 cdi. pm e if you want it. Cheers, Claudio

anyone have/know where i can get a burl wood **** knob for my w126 SEC? google just seems to throw up tacky "universal" knobs, or ridiculously expensive made to order ones from the USA.

hi, does anyone know how to remove the gear knob on a 2004 c220. mine is all come apart and im having a problem finding a replacement never mind getting the old removed, it has the up lift for reverse on it, any help would be great, thanks:)

Bought a 2012 gear knob for my 2009 mercedes c class, i bought in anticipation it would be a straight fit, everything came off fine with help from a few gear removal threads although it went wrong when i realised the knob was actually from an automatic, it didn't have the same fitment as mine...

Just fitted this little beauty. Neatly covers the boring plain silver false button. I think quite discrete and in keeping with the original interior.

I'm needing a new gear knob for my c class as mines that worn its falling apart, so I went to my local dealer and was quoted £186.00 for a new one, that's outrageous, just the knob, no gaitor or anything. Does anyone know a cheaper option?? Its the only thing spoiling my interior. Cheers Tom

Can anyone help with this? I assumed (uh oh!) that the tacky 8-ball gear knob currently fitted to my project E220 would simply screw off, however, it looks like it's glued. Do I need to remove the shaft? Thanks in advance.

anyone breaking a C class or changing a gear knob? Im after any badge that fits into the top of the gear lever - mines missing, and its annoying.... guy

would like to change the SEL's leather gear knob to a wooden one..... anyone got one spare or know where i can get one at a reasonable price?

ive been told the light should go on in the headlight knob when the foglights are turned on - ive changed the bulb, but it still doesnt work - any ideas?
