What do you do when you've finished using your PC, turn it off or let it go on standby? I turn mine off to save on power but it can be a pain and probably gets started about 6 times a day!

Just got '98 C2.5 turbo and seem to remember hearing, sometime ago that you'r supposed to leave the engine running, (to cool turbo) once youv'e stopped and before switch-off. Is this true or am I dreaming?
