Hi, Am I right in thinking that a 2009 SLK with COMAND -(hard disc based including SD card slot) should have a lever on the right of the steering wheel to operate the Linguatronic? I suspect that the muppet who retrofitted it on behalf of the dealer couldn't or wouldn't remove the steering...

Since my 1997 E200 passed away, I have acquired a 1999 240 estate, One of the 2 levers on the rear seat that allows you to bring the rear seat forward is broken. Is changing it a big job and can anyone direct me to some photos and where I can get the lever from? Thanks

This Morning I could not get the gear lever out of Park (foot on brake as normal). Restarted the car and gear lever works as is should. Is this just one of those things or should I get it looked into? Regards Tony.

Hi guys I have a W202 and when i put it in frist or second i am able to move the gear lever like 3-4 cm with the clutch out. but there is no play 3rd, 4th or 5th. can some one maybe shed some light on this for me please.

Noticed a new squeak in the ML, which seems to have started shortly after a recent service. It's originating from the black plastic gear lever surround - if you apply a light pressure the squeak goes away. Thought I might try to remove and re-seat it, to see if it makes a difference, but not...
