    C230 Rev limiter

    Hey all, I drive a 2002 c230 kompressor automatic. Is there a way to get rid of the rev limiter on my C230 Kompressor? In neutral it stops it at about 4100rpm. I'm trying to N-bomb the car to spin the tires. But when I go from neutral to drive it lowers the RPM's to about 2000 and then goes.

    Hitting the rev limiter with an auto box

    I've noticed this happening a couple of times recently, I've hit the rev limiter even though the auto box is in D, and I haven't used the tiptronic. Each time its happened I've been slowing down at a junction or roundabout, then seen it was clear and put my foot down. The car kicks down into...
