Hi Guys,
I have had Mercedes cars for many years, 4 W124s, a 95 C36 AMG, and currently have an 91 R129 SL , a 91 200TE and have just sold a 2001 E320CDI. Now I have covered hundreds of thousands of miles in these cars on the whole with no problems and none of them have ever let me down with one...

Interestingly there are a couple of low mileage E55 W211's on pistonheads at the moment. It seems that AMG's are falling in value lately. I spotted a 2004 C55 at Croydon Mercedes with 37k on the clock for £22,200! Its gone now.
Lovely car ...... why inflict this horror upon it ?

In light of the rest of the world finally beginning to cotton on, does it not make sense for this icon & cast iron certainty to be a collectors' item to be the New Forum Pic?
I believe there's a picture...
Been looking for an early 107 project for some time now but this one seems distinctly dodgy What questions should I be asking? Dosnt give much away in the description does he ? I wonder how he managed to lose the paperwork and also wonder why hes listed it as a 72 when it clearly is a 73...
I have been thinking about selling my fun cars (Triumph Spitfire & GT6) and buying an SL. The Triumphs aren't worth much so it would need to be a cheap SL. Do you think this would fit the bill or end up costing a fortune...
My SL has a Tracker unit fitted so I called Direct Line but they said it made no difference to the cost of the insurance. I was a bit taken back but when questioned a bit further, they really were not bothered about it.
Anyone else had the same experience or know of another company that...
