hi people. i noticed this morning that my LCD odometer display is not visible. Seems like the back light has gone. however if you look carefully you can actually just about see the reading. My temperature display and clock and the rest of the dash displays are fine so surely its got nothing to...

Not sure if this is in the right place but... The car is a 1990 3000TE-24. Yesterday I pressed the button to reset the tripmeter, It went back to zero fine but neither the tripmeter or odometer worked after that. Speedo is reading correctly. Does this require the same technical fix as my dash...

just for fun .. please add to thread, but: a) reading must be real, not photoshopped or tampered in anyway (yes, you, Shude :)); b) reading must be when you owned, leased or was assigned the car with the reading; and c) car must of course must be MB!

the backlight has gone on the odometer in my car. The surrounding warning lights are on fine and the mileage is still counting. Does anyone know if this just requires a replacement bulb or is it something more serious?
