I thought that we often see stuff that we think is really cool and so why not have a "Photo of the day" thread.
I'll start the ball rolling with Nikki Lauda "trying a bit"! He has only one wheel on the ground:bannana:
Dear Benz owners ... if someone really wants to see photos that are now not working. I can repair the links or the mods can repair the links for me.
Send me any threads that need to be fixed and I will slowly address the issue.
Some of the old photos were on FREE HOSTING that I have...
Hi Guys,
I bought a 2010 C-Class Mercedes a few weeks ago.
When I start the car it says interior lights inoperative. After spending a few weeks trying to get to the bottom of this only yesterday we discovered that somebody has cut the wiring on a plug that connects inside a housing (found...
I have a small gallery of photos of the wonderful Alpine A110. I shot them on film ten years ago in France and they've not been published before
I got to drive the car on track and it was extraordinary - ultra-quick & ultra-light steering with not much feedback at low speeds. So light you...
One of my all-time favourites... This Lancia Stratos has been laid up in a container since 1998 and is original right down to its balloon-like Michelin XWX tyres and Italian plates
Bonhams are selling the car in their Quail Lodge auction - book your tickets to Carmel now!

I'm taking up photography again and was wondering what the general favourite software might be?
Don't want to spend a fortune so has to be VFM
Probably need a pen tablet too? Any recommendations?
OK, not the catchiest title, and a little self-indulgent, but after cleaning yesterday, thought as I walked back to my car just how lovely she looked and took a couple of not very artistic snaps. I do love the C55.
My photo licence was due for renewal next month. £20 Grrrrr. Bit of a dilemma on whether to do it early or last minute as I use it as photo ID for travelling by air domestically as well as needing it for car rentals. Decided on balance better to get it done sooner.
Anyway it transpires that you...
I didn't do my usual 5 am start, up to Hyde Park Corner and chase the run back to Brighton this year, but picked up a few cars near Jack and Jill
There's a great photo of a steamer on the BBC website today in the gallery of today's photos

I've been asked to locate a BMW E30 Cabriolet in grey or silver for a photo shoot in Ladbroke Grove. Ideally it will be a standard car with a leather interior. Condition is not the most important factor but the style & colour are crucial
The car will be needed for a day. Date will be September...
I have a few photos up from Goodwood yesterday and will be adding more. The sideshows have grown enormously in the last few years and the period shops & garages to the right of the main entrance are looking particularly good
The event is a three-day tribute to Dan Gurney who is at Goodwood for...
The Ace Cafe Run completed a long weekend for petrolheads in Brighton. Starting at the Ace Cafe on the North Circular road in London the run ends up on Madeira Drive for a day-long party with live music, club displays and stalls. Mainly, though, it's about sitting in the sun and meeting old...
I apologize if this isn't the right area, but since this car isn't mine, I didn't want to put it in the albums forum.
Borrowed the neighbor's C43 for a quick photoshoot. Boy this thing sure feels different from my C230K.
OK, so not the famous 'official' BMW cars of the '70s and '80s, but art cars nonetheless. And I guess in keeping with the BMW Olympic marketing exercise!
In an arrangement with my son's school and the local BMW showroom, the arty pupils were selected and invited to participate in an event...
