Anyone know why the CLK63 cabriolet loses the quad exhaust system in the UK? And does anyone know if it is possible to retro-fit an authentic quad exhaust?

Has anyone a quad exhaust conversion on a clk55? If so did you have the deep boot pan like I have? Did you have to buy a later model shallow boot to do it? If not was it loud as hell and drone like mad? Thanks

My new SLK comes with "quad" tail pipes (ie: two tail pipes for each rear silencer). Are they just for show or do they serve any useful purpose? Would I lose anything in terms of performance or aural pleasure if I were to get them replaced with the more discreet dual tail pipes from the SLK 350?

Ive had these sat in the garage for almost a year now, I was going to fit them to mine but have decided to keep the 17" Ankaa wheels on it. I think the AMG box would look odd without AMG wheels. They are the 2 rear boxes, not just the tips, they are genuine MB parts. £300

I would really like to obtain the look of the quad exhaust on my CL55, not bothered about getting any more power etc. just like the look. Is there a easy way to obtain this look without a new exhaust? Thanks Danny
