    E55 Throttle Response Problem

I have a problem with my w210 E55. The problem is that sometimes the throttle response is very very slow. To give a example i was stopped at traffic lights today and when the lights went green i pushed the throttle to the floor but nothing happens for at least 4 or 5 seconds then the car...

    What should be my response?

The fault. Comfort function on steering wheel fails to operate. Used to be 50% of the time, but now only 10%. The fault doesn't show up on their diagnostics, but does manifest itself in their presence. They do acknowledge the fault exists. I am concerned that something relatively unconnected...

    Graduated response

The people down the road had their vile illuminated Santa nicked. Shame However, were informed that in future such trivial events should really only be reported to the police on line. I thought they were having a laugh, but no: http://www.online.police.uk/english/when_to_use.asp Sigh.

This is on a C220 diesel 1996. Has anyone experienced anything similar...

E270Cdi problem - delayed engine response

Hiya, I'm after some advice on a new (SA spec - so its the 'last model' E-Class without the electric brakes etc if that makes sense) E270Cdi Saloon. It is quick enough (about as quick at 6000ft and 35C as a Rover 820 at sea level and 20C) but it is godawful to drive and the fuel economy is...

    W202 throttle response...

I just wanted to ask those in the know, how does the accelerator work on W202's? are they a traditional direct link to the engine, or is it more like 'fly-by-wire' i.e. the accelerator sends a signal to the ECU which then does the necessary. My car lost power again this morning but right at...
