I know this will sound a but OCD, but I have trying to work out the different daytime running light types and can't. I have a 2010 E350 cdi Sport estate, it has what I would call 'hockey stick' shaped DRL's. Other E classes of the now older shape can also have simpler 'straight' DRL's...

Can Mercedes really tell if the car has been run in correctly by reading the ECU? If it does it store this information, surely they could tell if it had remapped, even if I returned it back to 'stock'? Please don't answer if you don't know for sure as I'm keen to get a definitive answer...
