Hope you can help a dimwit. Have a 2003 C200k and the rear parcel shelf speakers sound like two yogurt pots tied together with string, or the good old fashioned comb over the tracing paper and hummm sort of buzz. So, I would like to change them for something remotely better than the MB Matsui...
Would disconnecting the 2 rear shelf bass speakers make my stock head unit get more power/louder to the rest of the car's speakers since the rear shelf speakers are kind of useless with a sub in the boot?
I have a CLK 200, and am getting fed up with the sound coming from the rear speakers. Anyone recommend a decent replacement, and instructions on how to remove the rear shelf to change the speakers. Thanks ;)
