Hi, Has anyone been able to source the control boxes for illuminated door sills? Apparently the tend to blow but I hear that they are not available seperately from the complete kit.

anyone got the part numbers to hand for the above? think they did them in a white light and a blue light?? im after the white lights ones, seen some on ebay but they all look like jap copies - are they actually any good? TIA Deano p.s pics of the new wheels to come!

My car came with a factory fitted AMG kit and upon delivery, I was really surprised to see on the door sills, in big letters, 'CLK' and lit up in Blue! Totally illuminates the interior at night when you open the doors. Is this common on ALL CLK's or is that part of the AMG kit? If the latter...

A quick stupid question! The sills are plastic and seem quite flexible. I assume they can be removed/levered off without breaking them. Yet I'm nervous of applying pressure and breaking them. Is there a "special" technique? How are they "fixed" there? Reason: my satnav box hides...

Help please! I have installed illuminated sills in a W204 according to the instructions in WIS. I have made all the connections but upon testing, they do not light up at all. Im guessing there is no power to them. The only thing I can think it could be is, the instructions refer to connecting...

I will retrofit these which arrived yesterday next week for my W204 C CLass. I have the WIS instructions on how to do it all, however, one instruction says to remove the Parktronic control unit and there is then a side note about doing this.
