Surely nobody would think of buying this once lovely car would they?
The asking price, plus the amount of work and cash needed to make this one roadworthy again makes me think it should be scrapped.

The bartender walks up and asks what's in the bag.
The man reaches into the bag and pulls out a little man, about one foot

At 1st I thought it was mold from a possible rarely used Aircon system, the trouble with that idea is that...
So I was talking to a tyre place about winter wheels today, and the guy said that usually people go a little bit wider. For my 215/55R16s he suggested buying 225/55R16's. Question: is this common practice, is it safe, and would you recommend it?

My mate has an 2000 year model E280. The engine was making a tappet noise so his mechanic (ex merc employee) changed all 18 tappets but the noise is still there. The engine is also slightly lumpy on idle. Yet the car drives extremely well. The car has been serviced regularly by Mercedes and has...

Hi All,
I've recently purchased a 1992 190e 2.6 with 140k miles on the clock. The car seems in reasonable condition and has been running very well. I've had it 'serviced' by my local garage, which was filters and fluids.
My concern is that every day the idle is becoming just a little less...
