    Parking downside slope

Hi all, Park my w211 e-class on my downward slope driveway, I normally put handbrake on and then change to PARK. Is this the correct way, to stop it from rolling down and crashing in garage? Just wondering, because it other manual cars, I would place in reverse and put handbrake on. thanks,
