    Snow chains

Hi all, I usually like to be prepared than wish I'd have got something earlier so basically can anyone recomend a decent set of snow chains? I live on a quiet estate that doesn't see any grit and last year even in my Old front wheel drive Focus it was a game getting to a main road, no sign...

    Snow Chains

Every year, around Christmas, ECP, Aldi, Lidl, and everyone else have deals on snow chains... usually selling a set of two for £25. That said, I can't seem to find a set in that price range for my 225/45/19 (ecp seem to max out at 18" rims). Any suggestions? M/

    Has anyone tried snow socks?

I was thinking of getting some snow socks for my CLK as I only travel 9 miles too and from work and maybe good to have for emergency use only in the snow if we get any. Anyone tried these and if so which are the best? they are so cheap on ebay and is something good to keep in the boot.

    Snow Chains on W212

Has anyone on here successfully used snow-chains on a W212 E250 CDI Sport on 18 inch rims? According to the manual they are 'not permitted' on the 265/35 R18 (9.0 J x 18) fitted as standard on the sport (the 245/45 R18 - 8.5J x 18 are fine) However, all of the snow-chain website sell chains...

    Car shampoo and snow foam

What car shampoo do you guys put in with your snowfoam?? I've got some basic halfords shampoo that I put in with sf last time but it almost seems to cancel out some of the depth to the foam. When I then tried without the shampoo it seemed better.

Set of 4 Vredeststein winter wheels W124 15"

I have these left over now I have sold the 300d. There are 4, yet at the moment the 4th is in the boot of the car (my friends own it now, locally) acting as a spare wheel in the boot.It would be great if a prospective buyer could offer a p/x with a standard spare wheel (steel 15"), but not...

    Best snow foam ?

OK having purchased a meguiars G220 V2 polisher and a menzerna hard paint correction kit my next step is to buy a snow foam lance from CYC to reduce the chance of introducing any swirl marks to the now corrected paint work, there are dozens of pre-wash foams on the market and vast price...
