Washed my car today and the paintwork and glass are covered in tiny white spots, sitting on the surface. They don't wash or polish off and feel a bit rubbery. I was parked next to a building site in the week so that's my first port of call tomorrow - I'm guessing it's blown over the car from...

Washed my new toy today for the first time (only had it 3 days). When i dried it off noticed about 6 rust spots on the front of the roof ,they had been disguised by polish or t cut or something .Anyone one any ideas what may have caused them or what repair bill to put right.

noticed a few spots of rust comming through around the boot lock (w202, c280). whats the best way to prevent it getting worse?

guess the proper stuff, but maybe white spirit? petrol? thinners? elbow grease and polish?:eek:
