Ive been thinking of getting rid of my older dash with 'Squarer' style switches in favour for the newer 'curved' type dash switches and real wood. How is it possible to convert? is it simply plug and play? or would I need to do some soldering/ new plugs etc? Cheers

I am after some switches for a 93ish E class that have a central position, and switch either way from that. Mercman has found some rear blind switches, but is unable to confirm exactly how they work. Is someone here able to test one of these switches for me? (I did look in the haynes manual...

At the moment I have the single touch swicthes (down only) for the front windows,but on the rear you have to hold them down for as long as it takes to lower or raise the window.Does anyone know if it's possible to change these to sinlge action up and down for front and rear windows?
