Hi Guys, can anyone help with a Meta System car alarm installed in my W124 CE.
the Key Fob for the alarm is broken, so i can't de-activate it. is there any way off turing the system off so i can drive it to get the thing repaired?

Just from curiosity, what would happen if you took the harddrive out of a PC with say Windows XP and put it into a computer with Vista, or Windows 98 into an XP machine as a second hard drive? Would the old hard drive still operate with the old system or would there be a severe conflict.

Are the std fit alarm systems Thatcham Cat1 or lower? Mine is 1999 w210 and the question on the ins quiz asks for Cat1 or std install. I thought they were one and the same on Mercedes.

Just to let you all know i thoroughly recommend Murray Systems for wheels.
A couple of months back i hit a kerb and buckled a wheel and was able to buy 4 new 17" Elegance wheels for the 210 from them at a cost of £190 + £54 delivery to Belfast.
