Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a towbar to a c220 cdi coupe? I'm only going to be towing a small box trailer so I dont think i'm going to need autobox cooling or anything else but i'm just not sure if a towbar can be fitted due to the location of the spare wheel... any help?

A friend is looking for a cheap (<£2k) estate car for towing a trailer (~200kg) and a car (~900kg).
There are lots of 1990s Mercedes that fit the bill, but was wondering what is the minimum or recommended engines that are suitable for the job.

Any of my buddies in the NW got a trailer I could borrow or hire for the week coming. Have been forced into going camping, and the c180 aint really cut out for carrying tents, stoves,sleeping bags etc.
