I need this adapter for my car apparently and I don't know where to plug in the thin blue wire. The main part of the lead goes inbetween the aerial and the headunit, but where am I supposed to plug in the little blue wire?

As title, I removed my audio 10 to install a new headunit and I didn't know what this wire was for so I left it unconnected. Everything seems to work, but radio reception is very poor so I'm thinking it's maybe some sort of power to the aerial? Any help appreciated.
