Wighty, while in the local MB dealership last week, I asked what the costs were for a replacement key, and a full transmission fluid change, trans and TC, Result? replacement key? =€1'000, and the trans fluid change €700. Looks like I'll be doing the trans change in the w213, same as I have done in both w212's.

What year is the car , because you can get a key cloned if it's before 16/17. For around £100 nowadays

OT....but I need another for my 2010 W212.....any recommendations as to where from. On my ALFA it was over £400...so I stuck with just the one key!!

Wighty, at those prices, would pay me to take the ferry to England and get both the trans oil changed, and a new key for my w213,,,On second thoughts, be better wait until it needs a big service, brakes and tyres as well, and take the ferry.

Keep far away from Ireland,,I was quoted €1'000 for a replacement key for my 2018 MB w213.. I told them it was a car key I needed, not one for Fort Knox...

About £300 for a 2018 key . No software available from mb to enable clones unfortunately.
