Check this one out guys & gals.

I can not believe how much the seller is asking for - seriously, would anyone be dumb enough to pay this much?

How much would it cost to replace half of this car, not to mention alignment problems ...etc

Gotta be this one :)

Yeah right 5 maybe 6 grand but still an awful lot of work
2003 e55 how much mint £25-28K???? would it be worth it - always gonna be Cat D £12K....... would you bother????

I went to SWS last weekend they also had a tuned E class estate not sure of the model.

They have lots of Mercedes and they all do seem quite well stuffed!

I went with a friend to look at a DB7 which was not too bad but they still wanted £22k and probably only worth £30k at best.

But they do sell them, we were told the DB7 had sold for £21k.

Thanks Hi-Lo, got to emotionally distressed when I saw the dealer on ebay selling a pile of junk for 18 G....

I'd say this represents reasonable value given that a straight one is 30-34K.

From wisebuyers.

Car valuation adjusted for 34,000 miles
Retail: £35,626 The valuations quoted are prices you should aim to pay for a used car, not the advertised price. You should adjust your valuation to allow for extras that were not standard specification.

Private Good: £33,126
Private Average: £30,936
Private Poor: £28,746
Part Exchange: £31,876
Trade: £31,564

It really is pretty minor damage and I don't think the chassis leg will be bent given the crumple box is still intact and the shut lines look good and no airbag deployment. With new parts £5k to fix less if s/h parts used. If one can do their own labour then even less.

If it's unrecorded then there will be no complications when selling after the repair is complete.
