06 220 CDi cutting out?

Hello all,

I've had a C220 CDI W203 for nearly a year now but twice in the last 3 days it has cut out. Both times it was when I was driving around a corner, quite slowly. I've seen some threads on here that appear to point towards a fuel pump issue, but a couple of queries;

1. I've seen people quoting 'fault/error codes'- how can I access these?
2. The solution is often STAR - is that a diagnostics machine?

Yap get it onto a STAR DIAGNOSTIC machine or buy a code reader off AMAZON or eBay

I have had this problem check the wireing from the MAF they route over the top of the engine and rub until they short out.
